Two weeks from now I'm going to be on my way to Japan. I'm so, so excited! I've been reading lots of travel books and of course thinking about what to pack. I've been watching the weather and it seems like it's going to be relatively cold for me. It's currently about 25 degrees (F) warmer in LA than Tokyo, so normal for a lot of people, but for me, well, I'll be freezing. I'm planning to pack lots of layers to be prepared for whatever weather may come. So if I have to wear leggings, jeans, multiple shirts, a scarf and a coat, I for sure will be.
I'll be sewing a few of the garments but I've also bought some of them too, because I just don't have time to make everything. A few of these are things, I brought with me to Europe last year and I've added a few in an attempt to perfect my packing. For instance, the down jacket packs down into a little bag and the water bottle folds up. Oh, and the sneakers are crazy lightweight.
