Moodboard – Tribal Prints

I've always been crazy for prints. Thinking about how much I loved visiting the fabric store and discovering all the prints available, it occurs to that my love of prints might be one of the big reasons that I like sew. When you make your own clothes you get to choose your fabric and you can be as wild or unconventional as you like. You can make a dress printed with strawberries or chickens or an insanely bright print like the pieces in this moodboard. Prints can make me feel excited and happy in a way that a solid never can. How do you feel about prints? Are there some you like and some you don't?

If you're following me on Instagram, you might have seen my sneak peek of a skirt I made over the weekend with a very bright African print. I'll be sharing it and some other printed skirts on the blog later on this week. Also, check out my Pretty Clothes pinboard for more inspiration.
