This week I've been settling into being back at home after last week's vacation, and I'm thinking about all the things I need to do and all the things I want to do. I have so many projects swirling around in my head that it's a little overwhelming. I'll let you imagine how messy my apartment is right now. There are literally piles of fabric all over the place. It's embarrassing. From where I sit right now, I can see two finished projects, two mid-progress refashions, one almost done dress and a pair of Hudson pants cut out and ready to sew.
The one DIY I actually need to do this summer is a dress for an upcoming wedding. I've been researching dress designs (something simple but not boring), looking for something that will work with a fabulous black and white print from my stash. I think I've finally found THE pattern and I'm very excited to try it out.
I'm going to spend the weekend, trying to prioritize my lists and control my DIY impulses. I'm going to try to clean up my place rather than make more messes. Meanwhile, here's a little eye-candy for all things I want to be doing this weekend. How do you control your DIY impulses?
