Today’s make is one of my Make Nine for 2019. I always feel extra accomplished when I check something off my Make Nine list. Like high-giving, fist pumping accomplished. Not quite literally. But I do feel pretty proud. lol. The Kila Tank is the third completed make from the list. I will definitely need to speed it up a bit on my list if I’m going to finish by the end of the year. I still have 6 things left to make in the next 7.5 months. Totally do-able. :)

And don't worry, you don't need a fancy machine, this can all be done on a conventional sewing machine.

DIY Racerback Dress

I picked up this rather vibrant (dare I say neon! or is it chartreuse?) green fabric sometime last year in downtown LA. The Michael Levine bulk store is a haven for knits and I've been lucky to find a lot of basic solids there. I found this one when I was in the midst of testing the Lou Box Top and snatched it up. I had planned to make a sample and give it to a friend whose skin tone might be better flattered by this color but never got around to it.
