VIDEO Stuff I Made - Five pairs of handmade shorts

Hi sew friends! Today, I have a new round of "Stuff I Made” and today’s theme is shorts. I love wearing shorts in the summer so I thought that it would be fun to show you a few of my favorite pairs. In the video, I compare the design details of each of these women’s shorts sewing patterns and give a quick review and my size info. DIY Detachable Flint Bibs

A few months ago, Megan Nielsen released a free bib add-on to her Flint Pants pattern and I immediately knew that I wanted to try it. The Flint Pants are a wide leg pant and the coolest part is that they don’t have a traditional closure so they’re super easy to sew. The pants kind of have a mini wrap at the waist that you can finish with a button or a tie. I personally love the look of the tie at the waist.

Last month, Megan Nielsen asked if I’d like to try out one of her new patterns before its official release. I’ve been a big fan of her patterns for years now so I of course jumped at the chance. From the four new patterns, I selected the Dawn jeans. Jeans have been in my sewing queue for a long time and I just always seem to postpone making them so this was just the thing I needed to make a pair. By the way, the Wattle skirt was a close second. I have a red and white striped fabric that would be PERFECT for it.
