Sewing Vlog February 2022 and Survey Results

Hello sew-friends! I hope that you’re doing well. Today, I’m sharing my sewing vlog for the month of February 2022 (spoiler! there’s lots of quilting happening around here). Plus, I dive into the results from last month’s survey. I found the results really interesting and I hope you do too. Scroll down to watch the vlog and see the results.

If the video isn’t working above, you can also watch it on YouTube. To skip to the survey results, head to timestamp 5:58.

COURSES MENTIONED

Improvisational Quilting for Garment Sewists by Sew DIY. A tutorial for the quilted tablet case shown in the video and here is part of the improv quilting course.

Below are screen shots of the survey questions and results. A few notes:

  • Text has been added to the screenshots in some places to make the results more legible.

  • All write in answers have been removed from the screenshots to protect people’s privacy.

  • There were 290 responses in total but people were allowed to skip questions so some questions may have fewer responses.

  • In the video, I give more detail on my plans and thoughts about the survey results, so make sure to watch that if you’re interested.

By the way, the most reliable way to stay up to date on what’s happening at Sew DIY, is to sign up for my weekly newsletter. I find that Instagram is less reliable because it’s so easy to miss posts. Click here to sign up for the newsletter.

A want to give a big thank you to everyone who took the survey. It’s really helpful to me as I plan where I should put my focus, time and energy over the coming months and years. If you didn’t take the survey but have something to share you can contact me here.
